SEleNe CC Stakeholder Meeting 2024
On Wednesday, April 10th, 2024, SEleNe CC held its first Stakeholder Meeting in Sofia, Bulgaria. The meeting aimed to showcase the achievements of SEleNe CC, to address regional challenges and to outline future initiatives. Representatives from all SEE TSOs, NRAs, ACER, RCCs and esteemed guests such as the Deputy Minister of Energy of Bulgaria honor us with their presence.
The event commenced with a welcome speech by Mr. Krassimir Nenov, Deputy Minister of Energy of Bulgaria.
Mr. Yannis Kampouris, CEO of SEleNe CC, gave an introduction and shared insights into company's growth, challenges, and upcoming developments. Mr. Stelios Kromlidis, Director of the Operational Business Department, elaborated on the services provided by SEleNe CC and the added value to TSOs. Ms. Despina Papadopoulou and Mr. Konstantinos Mountouris, engineers, provided key highlights from our Annual Report and Mr. Lefteris Kontis, Director of the Business Development Department, discussed the challenges faced and the upcoming services. The morning session was completed with Mr.Gianluca Bruno, CEO of Esperia, who delivered a presentation on Esperia and the operational key results.
At the second session of the meeting, stakeholders shared their perspectives on regional coordination. Mr. Dimitar Zarchev, Director of the National Dispatch Center of ESO EAD, and Ms. Eleni Charpantidou, Director of European and Regional Affairs branch of IPTO, shared valuable insights on TSOs' views, while Mr. Plamen Mladenovski, Director of Electricity and Heat Supply Division of EWRC, and Mr. Dimitrios Fourlaris, Vice President of Energy Sector of RAEWW, provided perspectives from NRAs, emphasizing the importance of collaboration in regional energy initiatives.
The meeting concluded with an open discussion on regional priorities and future developments.
