Senior Operations Engineer (Power Systems)
Job Description and Responsibilities:
- Lead tasks related to the electricity grid for operational capacity calculation and security analysis to gain insights and provide improvement
- Lead the development of services provided by SEleNe CC
- Participate in international development projects
- Lead or join projects about services provided at regional and pan-European level
- Supporting TSOs in improving the representation and accuracy of their grid models
- Communication with the regional and European TSOs and other Regional Coordination Centres in Europe.
- All communications (written or verbal) within and outside of the company will be in the English language.
Required Qualifications/Skills:
- University degree in Electrical Engineering with an emphasis on Power Systems analysis.
- Strong competencies in data science and power system engineering: power flow analysis, grid modeling, power system operation, data analytics
- Ideally, at least 3 years of relevant work experience in power systems operation and as project engineer
- Fluency in the English language
- A postgraduate degree will be highly appreciated
- Team player and trustworthy
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong experience in Microsoft Office Suite (365)
What we offer:
- Competitive remuneration package. The salary range is between 25-35k Euros (gross, per annum), depending on experience
