IT Support Engineer

Role Overview:
SEleNe CC is seeking a highly motivated IT Support Engineer to join its technical team in Thessaloniki. The role combines 1st and 2nd level end-user support, Windows and Linux server management, basic networking, and the automation of daily tasks. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently, and a proactive approach to problem solving.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1st and 2nd level support to end-users (remote and on-site)
Administer and maintain Windows and Linux servers, Active Directory, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365
Perform basic network troubleshooting (LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPN, switches)
Install, configure, and maintain systems including computers, printers, and VoIP systems
Automate repetitive daily operational tasks to improve efficiency
Support implementation of SEleNe CC’s solutions, alerting systems, including backup, and cybersecurity tools
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve incidents, track issues through ticketing systems, and ensure compliance with SLAs
Required Qualifications
1–2 years of professional experience in IT support or system administration
Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and server administration
Knowledge of Linux environments
Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, routing, VPN, firewalls)
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Self-driven with a strong work ethic and problem-solving mindset
Good command of English (spoken and written)
Preferred Qualifications
Professional certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Linux, Cisco CCNA)
Experience in a TAC/NOC environment (ticketing systems, remote tools, monitoring, SLA tracking)
Familiarity with ITIL Service Management principles
